The commune of Savigny-lès-Beaune is in the north of the Côte de Beaune and produces 90% red wines. Hauts-Jarrons has calcareous stony and sandy soils at 220 meters to 360 meters in altitude. The Pinot Noir grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks for up to 4 weeks, and then the wine is matured in oak barrels for about 15 months.
Tasting Notes
A full-bodied wine that is intensely fruity when young. It will develop for 8 to 12 years in the cellar.
